Scare Actors Online Premiere!

The time has come! It has been a year in the making, but we are finally ready to show off Scare Actors!

It's been a crazy year. It's nuts to me that around this time last year I had started to work on the script for Scare Actors. Would you believe the script that we filmed was version 11? I had such an incredible time pressuring myself to write with a deadline, a skill that I hope will follow me to future endeavors.


I casted, designed costumes/props/sets, acquired loans, payed a staff, started a business, ran a crowdfunding campaign, coordinated shoot dates, and did so many little things to make this short film possible.


A lot of the stuff I didn't know I was going to do when I started filming. But I learned. And that was the whole point of this past year, was to learn.


Now I can step back and see the project in it's full state. And if I'm honest with myself, it's not perfect, but that's okay. Just like Taika Waititi said “90% of all movies are terrible, and if you take that ratio into account, it allows you to relax and you don’t have to worry about making something good all the time.”


However I'm still really proud of it. It definitely turned out better that I thought it was going to be.


Now of course the next chapter is sharing it everywhere I can, I'll start showing it off to film festivals, reaching out to show runners and producers, and submitting it to online channels that may want to share it themselves. But it does feel like a big chapter is done. So what's next?


Honestly I'm gonna do a lot of writing and start preparing for what the next big project is going to be. I have a couple of ideas that I want to flesh out a little bit more before I start planning on filming again. But I am planning on filming another project in the fall of next year!


But for now...


Podcast!

I'm going to start focusing on the podcast for the next two months. If it comes together, this could be a very cool job. But only time will tell.


I'm planning on starting to record in the next few weeks, now the short film is just about closed.


How's the Audiobook Coming?

It's coming along, I'm now editing a little bit everyday. I am very determined to finish the audiobook by the end of the year.


Voice Acting Update!

I've started auditioning again! Which feels great! I just got to get back in the groove and I'm sure I'll start landing jobs again soon.


Speaking of...


I can finally share that I'm going to be playing Lusi in the Sirenetta movie! It'll probably be at least two years until it comes out.
